Everyone’s situation is different from everyone else’s and so the ‘one size fits all’ approach to dealing with challenges rarely works. If we take a metaphorical approach it is possible to fit a situation into something quite general. Then by examining the solutions to a general problem a specific solution can be generated.
So, as an example, imagine you are on a journey to achieving your goals. Whatever walk of life we are in and whether or not we have a business to run, or a job to do, we all have daily challenges and sometimes hit our own personal brick walls.
Dealing with those brick walls in ways most appropriate to the circumstances is important, since walls are generally built for a very good reason. They may be there to keep danger out, or to keep something in. Other times it’s just to mark a boundary or a screen for something.
So it can be important to understand why a wall exists in the first place. Once the purpose of the brick wall is known then it is possible to decide whether it is a useful or an unuseful wall.
If it’s useful then it may need some modifying: painting or decorating, shoring up or extending.
